Hi, really great video, but I kinda wonder: You say the link's title (+anchor) has to be your keyword, but what if you "twist" it a little bit. For example, if I want to target a page on my website about "Steve Jobs", would a link with anchor text like "Steve Jobs fan" or "entrepreneur Steve Jobs" then damage the quality of the link a lot?

Great advice from Rand. I definitely have to work at building more awesome links. I will have to bookmark this and try to come up with some ideas that would work for my sites.

Jason, those kinds of links are fine, but you should still make sure you mix in some good links that have your exact preferred anchor text. If you look in your Google Webmaster Account you will see that Google gives weight to each individual word used on a page or in a link.

Great video. I like the idea about contacting site owners who have used your pictures/video, and having them create a link back. I have a site where images are an important thing, and this concept may work.

i just bumped into your site and i should say that it has been very educational for me… fun too actually.. what i love about videos such as this is it's a lot faster/easier to get those points across, also feels a lot like being in school, him the teacher and us the students… what i feel is hard about getting natural links is that you have to be at the top of your game to get people 'motivated' to link to you… with so many sites around, you need to be giving valuable info every time to keep people going to you… keep it up… i will surely check back for more!
