Such a great post here! The idea is very useful. No doubt, everybody can absolutely make linkbait in any niche they want.

Great read. I have always thought my niche was a hard area to link bait with, but I've thought outside the box and found niches that are in the general area of mine that can compliment each other. There shouldn't be a problem "hooking" some links that way.

I don't think I'll ever succeed with the .edu and .gov sites. But it won't hurt to just keep on dreaming and trying. :)

I've done a lot of work for local(Vancouver) clients and have some success emailing for links. There are a lot of .gov.bc.ca resource pages, just sniff em out!

Thanks for the mention. This is a really great article to think over and implement. ANYONE (and I mean anyone) can create great linkbait no matter what the industry. I'm surprised each day by the articles that get pumped out by various people each day with new and exciting info that's worth linking to!
