Inlinks.com Launched By MediaWhiz…I’m Staying Away

I just wanted to get a discussion going on MediaWhiz’s new product Inlinks.com. I didn’t need long to figure out this will go poorly for advertisers no matter what. The business model will work great for them, but not for long until Google figures out a way to start dropping the ban hammer. Google is clear on paying for links to influence the search results, which in reality just clutters the web with shitty sites that keep you from finding what you want. So how many of you will actually consider trying something like this out?

In short – no way José.

There is no point pursuing these quick-buck backlink techniques, it’s just a direct attempt to “game” Google and such can only cause damage long-term since, besides the annoyance it could cause site visitors, Google will have to find a way to circumvent this which can only negatively affect legitimate promotional efforts…

  2. Hmmm… this is a personal choice I think, it depends on a lot of factors, like footprints for instance.

  3. I wont…as Google is very strict with paid links…It might result in losing all my hard work..for some stupid $$

Google already knows…the company has been featured in Techcrunch where Matt cutts has given his views… I have blogged about it as well..

IMO, this model is not going to last in this market.

It IS better then the others for the fact that it’s “in content links” and not just on the sidebar, however, yea Google is going to find and destroy you; so it’s a no-no for me for sure.

I'm not sure Dennis. I doubt anyone would want that as they're being pushed to influence rankings.
