So I managed to get a listing from Project Honeypot on all the latest nasty activity and it shows the whole C class is up to no good and gives us an idea of the numbers this person has spammed. If you want to support Project Honeypot you can install the WP-Honeypot plugin which will help you fight comment SPAM.

have you noticd any interferance with other plugins? Not just other spam fighting plugins.
I've gotten 91 hits over the last 5 days.. what is the real world purpose of all this comment spam? Does it actually gain the creator anything?
I imagine he was collecting data on which sites he could come back and spam, and which sites were dofollow or not. This would improve his SERPs until Google caught on and penalizes the site.
